Notehall is a Tucson start-up that serves the academic efforts of college students. Wanting to develop an online community for students to facilitate the exchange of intellectual dialogue and information, Notehall contracted Intrigo. Intrigo designed and built applications with the Notehall team that allow students to create study groups, connect with their classmates, and buy and sell course notes.

Over nine months, a social network was built allowing students to upload class notes and study guides. Students can then set a price per download. Purchasers are rewarded for leaving feedback on the content quality. Besides the fully functioning marketplace, class forums and student messaging was developed to increase knowledge sharing. While attracting students wanting to earn extra cash, Notehall maintains a mission for better education. Working with shoestring budgets, Notehall launched in August ’08. As of mid November, over 6,000 students have signed up and use Notehall, daily.
