Specializing in investments in the ethanol and biofuel industry, ECM sought to improve internal operations and efficiency to facilitate growth with new investors and investments. Building on the strength of the highly skilled ECM team, Intrigo set out to build an application that streamlined their workflow and communications with investors, allowing ECM employees to spend more time focusing on selecting the right investments for their clients.

The application is designed to be task oriented. New documents, messages, and internal information can be uploaded by managers and assigned to specific employees. Assignments, completed tasks, and other operational information are posted to the company dashboard and newsfeed. Each newsfeed is tailored to the individual user, allowing managers to see the overall workflow of the company, and giving lower level employees immediate and easy access to the information that they need. By providing filters to the newsfeed, browsing information is even more streamlined.

The system also created the ability for external investors to be given logins to their specific account information. Investors and brokers are now able to easily track their investments and account information, and make applicable changes to their personal information. These changes are then posted to the newsfeed for the internal staff, notifying them of changes and any tasks that need to take place.
